Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the social responsibility of citizens towards the environment in Glintung Go Green program as a pro-environment program. methods of research used a qualitative approach with case study method. The informants are people in the village Glintung Malang with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the program Glintung Go Green with activities such as reforestation Pro environment, Urban Farming, and Water conservation has managed to solve environmental problems in the village Glintung as a form of social responsibility of citizens towards the environment. The success from the standpoint of citizenship education is part of the nature of citizenship (Civic dispositions) in shape good and smart citizenship into the estuary for the purpose of civic education.
