THE APLICATION OF FILM-BASED MULTIMEDIA IN CIVIC EDUCATION LEARNING FOR STRENGTHENING STUDENTS CHARACTER IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Bandung, Indonesia Abstract This research is motivated by the concern of researchers on the degradation of student characters in the 21st century. The development of the character of the students should be prioritized for the Indonesian nation to avoid the crisis. The development of learning process in school in strengthening the character of students required an effective and creative learning model, creative, innovative, and produces students who are able to engage the community with strong character potential. film-based multimedia is one of the perceived media that can answer the challenge. The purpose of this study is to assist teachers in creating media that attract students attention and can improve student character. This study uses a quantitative approach. Quasi experiment method. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, literature study, documentation study. The results achieved from this research is the process of learning PPKN using multimedia-based film shows a significant increase in the character of students.
